I don't need to say much about poet and MacArthur Fellow Heather McHugh. Here she is in a Seattle Channel interview with Eric Liu -- pretty brilliant himself -- on her childhood spent in her room, her way of seeing the world, her teaching philosophy, her opinions on sex, and her choice to give her MacArthur Prize money ($100,000 a year for five years) to Caregifted, the charity that she founded to nurture those who spend their lives taking care of a disabled family member longterm.
